Lindsey S. Frantz was born and raised in Appalachia and earned her MFA from Bluegrass Writers Studio at Eastern Kentucky University. Her stories and poems have previously appeared in Main Street Rag’s Villains Anthology, Ruminate Magazine, Emerge Literary Journal, and Young Ravens Literary Review, among others. Her debut novel, The Upworld, was published in 2017 through Line by Lion Publications. Since then, the rest of the series—The Wylden (2) and The Lacing (3)—has been published with the same publishing house. She also is an active participant in the Hidden Worlds Anthology Series with fellow writers Michelle Wilson and K.D. Reid.

She currently lives in Somerset, Kentucky with her husband, Vince, and their two young children, James and Sadie. She is a high school English teacher who loves dragons, books, and a good ink pen.
